About Blonyx:
Blonyx is an athletic performance brand that helps athletes achieve their athletic ambition.

Science is at the heart of everything we do. We turn it into performance nutrition systems that combine effective products with the support athletes need to use them properly and improve their performance.

We’re no ordinary supplement brand. Our marketing delivers on our mission by giving athletes practical advice, education and information that helps them make better decisions and pursue bigger goals.

As our Content & Social Media Manager, you’ll build the content-led growth engine that expands our reach, strengthens our community and introduces more athletes to Blonyx.

The role:
You’ll create and manage content across Instagram, Facebook, our website and other relevant channels. This includes social posts, articles, videos, photography, athlete interviews and website content.

Working to a consistent weekly cadence, you’ll:
  • Turn sports science into clear, engaging and useful content.
  • Plan, create and publish content across our channels.
  • Develop and test hooks, angles, formats and calls to action.
  • Grow and engage our community of athletes.
  • Find athletes, conduct interviews and bring their stories into our content.
  • Use content to drive website traffic, email sign-ups and sales.
  • Identify strong organic content for boosting.
  • Use performance data to learn quickly and improve our approach.
  • Represent Blonyx at sporting events, including occasional weekend events such as the Whistler GranFondo and BMO Vancouver Marathon.

This isn’t just about making good-looking posts. You’ll connect creative work to audience growth and commercial results.

Who we’re looking for:
You are proactive, resourceful and comfortable making things happen. You enjoy meeting athletes, uncovering stories and turning ideas into effective content without waiting for a perfect brief.

You’ll bring:
  • At least three years of experience in a similar content, social media or digital marketing role.
  • A degree in marketing, sports science, kinesiology, exercise physiology, nutrition or a related field—or equivalent professional experience.
  • Strong writing, photography and short-form video skills.
  • Experience creating and managing content across social and digital channels.
  • An understanding of audience growth, digital marketing and conversion.
  • Experience testing hooks, formats, creative angles and calls to action.
  • Confidence using analytics to guide decisions and improve results.
  • The initiative to approach athletes, conduct interviews and build community relationships.
  • Commercial judgment and an understanding that content should inspire action.
  • A genuine involvement in or love of sport.

The team:
You’ll join a small marketing team and work closely with a colleague who leads email marketing and supports content and community engagement. You’ll also collaborate with our contract advertising manager and contract designer.

Small-company life comes with real ownership. You’ll be expected to learn quickly, test ideas, make decisions and keep moving. In return, you’ll have the freedom to express yourself, try new things and build a meaningful career.

How success will be measured:
  • Website traffic from social channels.
  • Sales attributed to social.
  • Audience growth rate.
  • Engagement rate.

What we offer:
  • $60,000 annual salary.
  • Benefits.
  • Free Blonyx product allocation.
  • Flexible working hours.
  • Hybrid work, currently including two days per week at our North Vancouver office.
  • Occasional freedom to work from another location, with agreement for example, to extend time away around a vacation.
  • Free entry to many local sporting events, including the Whistler GranFondo.
  • Time off in lieu when weekend event work is required.
  • The freedom to experiment, learn and take ownership.
  • Opportunities to expand your skills and progress your career.
